Rider Down Benefit
On Nov 2nd GP east and Get in Gear Bicycle will have a benefit for Dave Seaquist. We will be raffling off a Transtion Klunker among other things. Raffle tickets will be through me and at the Get in Gear bike shop. 1 for 5 or 5 for 20. There will be a party for 3 to 7 the day of with beer and food (and yea I have the vegetarians covered this time) so it will be a good time for a good reason. We have changed it to not needing to be present due to the amount of people outside of NC that want in. So the Grand prize of the klunker will be a nation wide raffle. All the other stuff like helmets, shirts, hats, etc will be given to only people at are present.
Tickets are available online till Nov. 1st at midnight EST
If you are going to be out of town and would still like to buy some tickets PM and I will get you the info and get you some tickets.
Here is a link to the Klunker and a quick Bio on dave
https://www.transitionbikes.com/2013/Bikes_Klunker.cfm
Dave Sequist is an adrenaline junky. MX, crotch rocket, BMX, DH, etc. The kind of guy who LOVES competition, but also loves his competitors. A big kid at heart…and wears it on his sleeve. As a pro with team Gravity Pirates Racing he has committed himself to making DH world cups one day. There are going to be crashes. We all accept that. But this latest crash at the Kamikaze Games was a case of horrible luck that could have happened to any of us. Taking a handlebar in the gut during a routine crash left him struggling for life. After losing several organs and lots of blood…he is now hoping to recover. Let’s show Dave we are all pulling for him!

Re: Rider Down Benefit
Think I saw Dirty post somewhere that you had to be present to win because they didn't wanna ship. Maybe I'm mistaken tho? Either way, maybe ppl would donate even if they know they can't win
